|A note from Kate|
I have many years of experience as a pet owner/caregiver & have had the fortunate opportunity to enjoy the companionship of animals in my daily life both personally & professionally.
Since my early teens, my employment experience has primarily been centered in Veterinary Hospitals. I have held the positions of kennel assistant, veterinary technician, receptionist, & office manager. I have had the fortunate experience in working in a teaching hospital, as well as working with small mammals & exotics. These duties have allowed me to experience & further my education in animal care in the best way possible - Hands On!
A graduate of the University of Illinois in 1998 in Veterinary Sciences, I have now volunteered & worked in the veterinary field and as a pet sitter for over 15 years. I can assure you I truly understand your pets needs & the benefits of in-home care.
I owe so much to the faith, help, & guidance provided to me by the many dedicated veterinary professionals I have been fortunate enough to continue to work with. Thanks to them, I am trained & well practiced in pet first aid, as well as experienced in administering medications, medical treatments, & injections to pets of ALL varieties!
I am proud to say that this path has led me to my dream ~ my own company, providing personal pet sitting & care on a daily basis, giving the love and care I would desire for my own pets to have & sharing my expertise for the improvement of all of our pets lives.
My husband, Bryan, & I are the proud “parents” of Sadie (a 3yr old ShihTzu), Josie (a 18wk old ShihTzu), Chill (an 18yr old Amazon Parrot), & Sebastian (a 15yr old Shorthaired Tabby). Passionate about helping animals in any way, I have been blessed in the last year with a family that understands this passion & has encouraged me to take what had been a part time company I created in college, fully dedicate myself to its success, & develop it into my dream! Their support & the continuing support of my clients has brought me to where I am today~ready to provide the same quality care for your furry (or feathered!) family members!
